ThunderTac™ Single Point Sling (TT-SPS)

The ThunderTac™ Single Point Sling (SPS) is a robust but extremely simple to use single point type sling that mounts directly to a side receiver sling mounting plate (not provided) utilizing a 1" webbing strap and a heavy duty triglide. The ThunderTac SPS Sling allows for ambidextrous use for both strong and weak side cross-shoulder transitions, as well as muzzle-down unobstructed clearance for secondary weapon transitions. The SPS Sling can allow the operator to swing the firearm around their back for "hands free" carry option. The SPS sling body detaches from the weapon by a push-button, single release buckle. This quickly separates the weapon from the sling body, while still maintaining the attachment points both on the weapon and the sling for quick re-attachment. This is advantageous not only if the operator is imperiled, but it allows the operator the option of wearing the sling without the weapon attached. This is convenient for rapid deployment, vehicle use, and other less conventional carry modes. The SPS can also be ordered with an optional quick-release forged bronze snap shackle buckle (see pictured). This provides an additional quick release feature and is designed for those involved in waterborne operations, etc.
